Highlanders Weekend Guide: Fixtures, Venues and Kick-off Times

Highlanders Media

It’s another exciting weekend for the Highlanders family, with both the senior team and Bosso 90 in action as they continue their respective campaigns.

First Team

Highlanders make the short trip to Gweru where they will face TelOne FC at Ascot Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 3:00 PM.

Fresh from an impressive victory over Hunters FC at Barbourfields Stadium, Bosso will be looking to maintain their momentum and secure another crucial three points on the road.

TelOne FC, have endured a difficult start to the season. After suffering defeat to AGAMA FC in their last outing, they currently sit at the bottom of the table with just 8 points, having managed one win and five draws from 15 matches.

Fan Travel

Supporters travelling to Gweru can make use of the official supporters’ bus, which departs from the Highlanders Clubhouse at 11:00 AM. Return tickets are available for $15.

Bosso 90

Highlanders’ developmental side, Bosso 90, will be aiming for their third victory of the season when they host former Castle Lager Premier Soccer League champions Zimbabwe Saints in a Southern Region Soccer League Matchday 12 encounter.

Confidence will be high in the Bosso 90 camp after last weekend’s hard-fought 2-1 victory over Khami United at Khami Prison, thanks to a brilliant brace from Leo Phiri.

Kick-off is set for 12:00 PM.

Highlanders Juniors

There will be no junior action this weekend, as all Highlanders Juniors fixtures have been postponed.

Whether you’re making the trip to Gweru or supporting Bosso 90 at home, let’s get behind the black and white and cheer our teams on to victory.
