Bosso 90 collected all three points after defeating Khami United 2-1 in a closely contested match at Khami Prison Ground.
The visitors made a bright start and took the lead in the 13th minute through Leo Phiri, who calmly found the back of the net to give Bosso 90 an early advantage. The remainder of the first half was a closely contested affair, with both teams battling for control, but Bosso 90 held onto their slender lead going into the break.
After the restart, Phiri once again proved to be the difference-maker. The midfielder completed his brace with a stunning free-kick that left the Khami United goalkeeper with no chance, doubling Bosso 90’s advantage and putting the visitors firmly in control.
Khami United responded almost immediately, pulling a goal back to reduce the deficit to 2-1 and setting up a tense finish. The home side piled on the pressure in search of an equaliser, but Bosso 90 remained disciplined and resolute at the back.
Despite the late pressure, Bosso 90 stood firm until the final whistle, securing all three points and recording their second victory of the campaign.
