Highlanders Football Club is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with Junza Studios for the production of a feature film inspired by the Club, its people, its culture and the deep bond between Highlanders and its supporters.
The collaboration brings together two institutions rooted in Bulawayo, with the feature film exploring the powerful bond between Highlanders Football Club and those who call it their own. Through the lives of its characters, the film will delve into the passion, identity and belonging that surround Bosso, revealing a deeply human story about what it means to love a football club.
Established in 2013, Junza Studios is a Bulawayo-based film and television production company specialising in high-quality African storytelling and commercial video production. The studio has produced award-winning projects and developed content for television and digital platforms, combining cinematic production with authentic African storytelling.
Through this agreement, Junza Studios will work with Highlanders Football Club to bring this story to the screen, offering supporters and wider audiences an opportunity to experience the world of Bosso through a distinctly human lens.
The production will explore the spirit, culture and emotional world surrounding Bosso through the lives of its characters, capturing the passion, relationships and personal experiences that make the Club so deeply significant to its supporters.
The project offers a new creative interpretation of the Bosso experience, bringing its passion, culture and human stories to audiences locally, regionally and internationally.
