Highlanders Football Club is pleased to announce the addition of three players to its first-team squad during the mid-season transfer window, as the Club continues to strengthen the team for the remainder of the campaign.The Club welcomes Brighton Makopa, Liam Mabidi and Emmanuel Saidi to the Black and White Army, with the trio adding further quality, depth and competition to the squad.
Brighton Makopa Returns Home
Highlanders FC is delighted to welcome back Brighton Makopa, a player with strong roots at the Club. Makopa developed through the Highlanders developmental structures before continuing his football journey elsewhere. He went on to represent Hwange FC, where his performances earned him recognition and eventually secured him a move to Chicken Inn FC.
His return to Highlanders represents a homecoming for a player who understands the Club, its culture and the expectations that come with wearing the famous Black and White jersey.
Makopa returns with valuable top-flight experience and will be looking to make an important contribution during the remainder of the season.

Liam Mabidi Joins Bosso
The Club is pleased to confirm the signing of talented midfielder Liam Mabidi, who joins Highlanders from Beitbridge-based Dulibadzimu United. Mabidi’s football development also includes time within the structures of TS Galaxy in South Africa, an experience that has contributed to his development as a midfielder.His arrival provides the technical team with another option in midfield as Highlanders continues to build greater competition and depth within the squad. The Club looks forward to seeing Mabidi continue his development and express his talent in Black and White.

Emmanuel Saidi Arrives on Loan
Highlanders FC has also secured the services of Emmanuel Saidi, who joins the Club on loan from Scottland FC until the end of the season.
Saidi’s arrival further strengthens the squad as the technical team prepares for the challenges ahead during the second half of the campaign.
