It’s another busy weekend for the Highlanders family as our teams continue their campaigns across the club.
First Team
All eyes will be on Barbourfields Stadium this Sunday as we host Simba Bhora in what promises to be a thrilling encounter. Kick-off is at 3:00 PM.
We head into the match full of confidence after a superb 2-1 victory over MWOS FC at Ngoni Stadium last Saturday, courtesy of goals from Isaac Ngoma and Never Rauzhi. The win was particularly significant, marking our first-ever victory over MWOS since their promotion to the top flight.
Our visitors, Simba Bhora, arrive after suffering a 2-1 defeat to TelOne at Wadzanai Stadium in their last league outing. Sunday’s fixture also carries extra significance as Simba Bhora are coached by former Head coach Mandla Mpofu, who returns to Barbourfields for the first time since leaving the club.

Our developmental side, Bosso 90, will be in action on Friday when they face Nkayi United at Bulawayo Chiefs Village.

Bosso 90 will be looking to return to winning ways after sharing the points with Zebra Revolution last weekend.

Our ladies’ team has no fixture this weekend. Details regarding the resumption of their league programme will be communicated in due course.
