Highlanders FC Mourns the Passing of Moffat Mlangeni

It is with profound sadness that Highlanders Football Club learns of the passing of Mr. Moffat Mlangeni, a loyal servant of Highlanders FC whose contribution to the growth of the Club in Victoria Falls will never be forgotten.

Mr. Mlangeni was a devoted member of the Highlanders FC family and one of the pioneers of the Victoria Falls Chapter. His passion, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the Club played a pivotal role in establishing and growing the Highlanders FC fellowship in Victoria Falls. Through his efforts, countless supporters were introduced to the Club and became part of the Highlanders FC family.

In 1986, following one of the most successful seasons in the Club’s history, Mr. Mlangeni was instrumental in bringing Highlanders FC to Victoria Falls for the first time. He remained a tireless ambassador of the Club, always extending a warm welcome to players, officials, and supporters whenever Highlanders FC visited the resort city.

His service to Highlanders FC extended far beyond his years of involvement. He was a mentor, a leader, and a true custodian of the Highlanders FC spirit. His dedication to nurturing and growing the Club’s support base in Victoria Falls helped lay a foundation that continues to thrive today.

Mr. Mlangeni’s legacy will endure through the generations of Highlanders FC supporters he inspired and through the strong Highlanders FC presence he helped establish in Victoria Falls.
