Highlanders FC juniors endured a mixed afternoon against Biya Academy across the U13, U15 and U17 age groups, with the young Bosso stars showing great character and promise despite varied results.
The U13 side fell to a 2-0 defeat against a disciplined Biya Academy outfit in a tightly contested encounter.
The U15s, however, produced an impressive response as they secured a deserved 2-0 victory. Quinton Makizeni opened the scoring with a composed finish before Blessing Nleya sealed the win to hand the young Bosso side a confident performance and clean sheet.
In the U17 fixture, Highlanders fought bravely but narrowly lost 3-2 in an entertaining contest. Joel Chirwa was the standout performer for Bosso, grabbing a brilliant brace, but Biya Academy edged the contest in the closing stages.
The matches continue to provide valuable development opportunities for the club’s rising talents as Bosso builds for the future.
