Highlanders FC suffered a narrow 1–0 defeat to HardRock FC at Barbourfields Stadium.
The first half was a tight contest, with both sides battling for control. Bosso created an opening through Luckmore Mutumbi, whose lovely ball found Benjie Jr, but his effort went over the bar.
At the other end, Aron Ngwenya produced a brilliant one-on-one save to keep the scores level heading into the break.
Highlanders made changes in the second half in search of the breakthrough, introducing Kudakwashe Mahachi, Benjamin Odeogun and Lawrence Mhlanga.
However, it was HardRock who broke the deadlock in the 74th minute through Washington Navaya.
Bosso continued pushing until the final whistle, with further changes seeing Reason Sibanda and Isaac Ngoma introduced, but the equaliser would not come.
